Scrutinizing images should be based upon known camera artifacts and effects and not able to be easily recreated without digital tampering. These are considered anomalous images. Image anomalies are just pieces of observational data of the paranormal phenomenon to be studied. Still image camera anomaly captures are completely different from video anomaly captures
Audio anomalies are the most common captures in paranormal study. EVPs are voices and sounds captured beyond human range of hearing by electronic devices. A.R.C. only captures EVPs directly from the camera and not voice recorders.
Video anomalies are the rarest evidence captures to obtain due to various reasons. Many claimed legitimate video anomalies end up being misconceptions, poor quality, dust or particle, or outright fraud. Video anomalies are very rare and difficult to obtain. We know that many paranormal researchers often overlook fast translucent anomalies as some are very difficult to isolate and analyze. This makes these captures seemingly "easy to dismiss" without in depth analysis.
